Description
To make payments to existing owners of project-based Section 8 housing for 12-month periods. To reduce claims on the Department's insurance fund by aiding projects with FHA-insured or Secretary-held mortgages that have immediate or potentially serious financial difficulties. To provide decent, safe and sanitary housing for low-income families through the provision of housing assistance payments.
