Description

This lead outreach grant program is supported by EPA's goal to reduce childhood lead poisoning. The projects support this goal by providing lead poisoning outreach to low income communities. Funding Priority - Fiscal Year 2012: No Funding was available for FY2012. The project will (print and broadcast) raise awareness of the dangers of lead-based paint dust, especially from renovation or repair activities, and to encourage parents and caregivers to take notice of the paint conditions in their home and connect with local and national resources to ensure their home and family is safe from this potent neurotoxin.
