Description

To distribute a web-based technology solution to State governments and Private Voluntary Organizations (PVOs) in order to ensure that in the event of a disaster the State has a resource in place that it can rapidly activate to allow the general public including the private sector to make offers of donated goods, volunteer services, and financial contributions to PVOs. The expectation is that the resource will help manage the information of large numbers of offers, and help lessen the flow of uncoordinated donated goods and volunteer services into the disaster area.
