Construction & Environmental Compliance & Remediation

NASA�s CECR account is responsible for the design and execution of Construction of Facilities (CoF) projects, facility demolition projects, Energy Savings Investment projects, and Environmental Compliance and Restoration (ECR) activities. CoF makes capital repairs and improvements to NASA�s institutional infrastructure and provides NASA's programs and projects with the specialized test, research and operational facilities required to accomplish their respective missions. ECR projects clean up pollutants released into the environment during past activities. This program also funds large capital compliance projects resulting from changing environmental laws and regulations and includes sustainability initiatives as appropriate concerning NASA�s mission and operations.
