Description

Under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 to provide grants to Native American Tribal Organizations and Native Hawaiian Organizations who are current grantees under Title VI of the Older Americans Act, as amended, to support nutrition services including nutritious meals, nutrition education and other appropriate nutrition services to maintain health, independence and quality of life. Meals may be served in a congregate setting or delivered to the home, if the older individual is homebound.
