Advancing Prevention and Treatment of Bacterial STIs in HIV-affected Adolescent and Maternal Populations

The Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development seeks to advance its mission by soliciting research, including clinical trials, on bacterial sexually transmitted infections (STIs) in adolescent and maternal populations affected by HIV. Topics may include advancement of research on diagnostic modalities and their clinical implementation, effectiveness, and safety of new microbicidal agents, as well as dissemination and implementation research on evidence-based STI prevention and treatment strategies of youth and maternal HIV-affected populations.
