Accepted applicants will join California Library Literacy Services in the 2026-2027 project period and are expected to run ongoing literacy programs. Funds for ongoing programs are awarded annually. Eligibility Requirements Eligible Applicants: Nonprofit Public Agency Check that your organization meets all eligibility requirements: Is a California public library or supporting agency, such as a governmental agency, non-profit library foundation or Friends group; can commit to providing library-based literacy services in alignment with the CLLS Mission, Values, and Program Essentials ; and has at least one staff member who will attend an information session.
